The Port of Oakland collaborated with Community Resources for Science, San Leandro Rotary and San Leandro Education Foundation for the first Port Science Day at Garfield Elementary School in San Leandro.
Port employees and participating partners volunteered to table interactive activities, such as the paper airplane challenge and ph testing/water quality, which helped every student explore Port-related scientific concepts and careers. It was a fun day of science for all!
