In 2019 we created this fictional short movie to be used in trainings for street outreach teams. “Pay or Quit” is centered on the story of a Black Trans woman who’s experiencing housing insecurity and struggling with addiction. We developed the script with a series of focus groups at CalPEP – the California Prostitutes Education Program – based in West Oakland, California.
