Participatory Video Advocacy

We were contracted by the Nonprofit Housing Association of Northern California to create a series of videos for the affordable housing advocacy campaign “Begins at Home.” The resulting films focus on good news – the stories of people who had experienced housing insecurity or homelessness and now have stable housing. This project was also special because it involved a participatory storytelling process where each video’s hero got to write their own voiceover and had say on the final cut.
