The Freight & Salvage Coffeehouse is a nonprofit community arts organization dedicated to promoting public awareness and understanding of traditional music. Since its founding in 1968, the Freight & Salvage has been deeply rooted in that aspect of Berkeley’s culture that embraced freedom, justice, acceptance, collaboration, and innovation.
Normally, they hold a concert as part of their annual fundraiser. However, this year a live show was not possible due to COVID-19 and they needed an alternative solution. We were tasked with stringing together and polishing a collection of musical home recordings, taken by the artists themselves, into a single and consistent production. We’re happy with the result and are honored to have helped this legendary venue keep it’s doors open during these difficult times. With this video and the hard work of the Freight & Salvage development team, they were able to successfully meet their fundraising goal.
