Foster America is a non-profit working to improve the lives of children and youth in foster care. They do this by recruiting folks who already work in the systems that impact families. These recruits become members of a cohort of Foster America Fellows who design and implement systems change from within.

Together Pictures was asked to document both the convening of this year’s Fellows, and to provide video copies of a couple presentations by the fellows. We sent a camera/audio person to the convening and then hired an editor to bring everything together (including powerpoint and zoom footage) so that conversations could continue online. These videos will also be used to recruit future Fellows to the program.

In addition to capturing the footage for these videos, West Oakland filmmaker KimberLee Webber also took beautiful headshots of all of the current Fellows, incorporating the Foster America brand colors in her lighting.
