The Freight & Salvage Coffeehouse is a nonprofit community arts organization dedicated to promoting public awareness and understanding of traditional music. Since its founding in 1968, the Freight & Salvage has been deeply rooted in that aspect of Berkeley’s culture that embraced freedom, justice, acceptance, collaboration, and innovation. Normally, they hold a concert as part of their annual fundraiser. However, this year a live show was not possible due to COVID-19 and they needed an alternative solution. We were tasked with stringing together and polishing a collection of musical home recordings, taken by the artists themselves, into a single and consistent production. We’re happy with the result and are honored to have helped this legendary venue keep it’s doors open during these difficult times.
